Observability and Security for the AI Era

Datadog has always been driven by a broader vision of helping teams understand and operate complex systems. In this session, you’ll hear from Clément Wehrung, Senior Directors of Product Management and Samantha Scaglione, Senior Product Manager, as they share the latest updates across the Datadog product suite and discuss how that vision continues to shape the platform’s evolution and support the next generation of AI-driven applications.

From expanded agentic capabilities and new security and compliance features for global enterprises to improvements in data reliability for AI applications, join us for a first look — live from the heart of the AI industry — at how Datadog helps teams understand and operate complex, distributed environments.

How Zendesk Put Reliability First When Scaling Its AI Agents Team

When Zendesk acquired Ultimate, the team became Zendesk’s AI Agents team and continued operating with much of the autonomy that had made it successful as an independent company. But as the team adapted to Zendesk’s scale, reliability expectations changed. To meet Zendesk’s SLA commitments, teams needed to identify the root cause in two minutes on average, and the existing observability posture was not built for that level of operational rigor.

In this session, Tiago Araújo, Engineering Manager, will share how Zendesk helped the AI Agents team raise its reliability standards while preserving the speed and autonomy that made the team successful. He’ll explain how the team adopted production best practices, improved its observability foundation, and reduced time to root cause, turning reliability work into a way to move faster and more safely rather than a constraint on delivery.

Attendees will leave with practical lessons for scaling engineering teams that need to move quickly while meeting higher production expectations. You’ll learn how stronger observability, clear reliability goals, and better operational practices can help teams reduce incident impact, protect SLA commitments, and increase delivery confidence.

How to Connect Millions of Appliances to Hundreds of Services and Still Know What's Going On

A large and increasing share of appliances from BSH brands like Bosch, Siemens, Neff, Gaggenau, and Thermador are enabled for Home Connect, allowing consumers to access advanced digital features, integrate their appliances with smart home ecosystems, and benefit from energy-saving opportunities.

To keep this growing fleet securely connected to mobile devices, Home Connect services, and third-party ecosystems such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home, BSH operates a large-scale IoT infrastructure that processes tens of thousands of messages every second. In this session, Jan Wilhelm, IT Solution Architect at BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, will share how an event-driven microservices architecture helped the company scale Home Connect by roughly 100x over the last 10 years, and the observability challenges that came with that growth.

Attendees will walk away with practical strategies for maintaining observability as distributed systems scale, troubleshooting issues across complex microservices architectures, and meeting strict data residency requirements using Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC).
