Datadog Innovation in the Era of AI

Although Datadog has built a reputation for best in class observability tools, it was founded on a much larger vision than just monitoring. In this session, Maxime Agostini (Group Product Manager) will talk about Datadog's original mission and how it has led to the innovation and expansion of the Datadog platform. He'll highlight our latest product updates and feature releases, discuss how our mission is driving future platform innovations, and share how this will radically change the future of your work.

Measuring the Real Impact of AI Code Assistants at N26

Over the past year, N26, Europe’s leading digital bank, has been integrating AI code assistants into their engineering workflows. Like many teams, they faced an early question: do these tools actually improve productivity, or just feel like they do?

Fortunately, N26 had years of DORA metrics tracking their delivery performance and Datadog was quick to integrate with their AI tooling services. This gave them a unique opportunity to measure not just their AI adoption, but to understand its real-world impact, correlating perceived productivity with data-backed outcomes.

In this session, Akhil Bojedla (Lead Software Engineer) and Jacob Castello (Lead SRE) dig into their experiences to discuss what happens when you bring AI tooling to development teams, and how they use DORA and other metrics to measure their adoption and impact.

Bringing Observability to Data

While observability practices have evolved in recent years, they have largely focused on application services and infrastructure. Yet it is data what powers our applications, businesses, and AI models. When data issues occur, the consequences can be far reaching, from poor product experiences to billing errors to misinformed AI outcomes.

In this session, Jonathan Morin, Group Product Manager at Datadog, shares real-world examples of incidents and explains how data observability can address them, helping teams detect issues earlier, reduce costly downtime, and restore trust in their data.

The Hidden Bottleneck in Latency: GetYourGuide’s Database Performance Journey

Fast front-end and back-end code alone won’t guarantee low end-to-end latency as hidden bottlenecks in the database can undermine even the best engineering efforts.

In this session, Oleksii Serhiienko, Senior Site Reliability Engineer at GetYourGuide, will share how his team put database performance at the center of their monitoring strategy. He will highlight how they identified and fixed slow queries, uncovered load balancing issues that drove significant cost savings, and built monitoring practices that improved both reliability and investigation workflows.

On-Call: Keeping Cool When Everything's on Fire

The DevOps revolution broke down the traditional silos between development and operations, fundamentally reshaping how we build and maintain software. But with this evolution came an inevitable -- and often stressful -- reality for many engineers: being on-call and responding to incidents.

In this session, Daljeet Sandu will explore how on-call has evolved in recent years, highlight proven best practices, and share insights into the future of incident response in DevOps.
