What to Expect

Spend the day diving into observability and security, seeing how top engineering teams tackle reliability, performance and threat detection in increasingly complex environments.

We've built a full program that's practical, engaging and directly relevant to your team's real work, with open discussion woven through hands-on sessions. You'll work directly with our specialists on real scenarios, not generic product walkthroughs.

Our experts will answer questions live, share what's worked well across other organisations, and help you pressure-test ideas as you go. You'll leave with a clearer picture of the gaps in your current approach, a shared language across teams, and practical next steps you can act on right away.

Opening & Overview

For all teams

Open the day with a welcome from Eric Kamara, Director of Engineering at Ferocia, and Rosalind Gregory Regional Vice President at Datadog. They'll set the scene for the sessions ahead, shared vision, share a bit about how the partnership between our two teams has developed, and formally kick things off before we get into the sessions.

The State of AI, Agents and Observability

13:15 13:30

The State of AI, Agents and Observability

For all teams

An overview of how AI is being adopted across our global customer base, and which use cases are holding up in production. We'll share the trends and patterns we're seeing, including new roles such as Chief AI Officer, how teams are sequencing adoption between customer facing products and internal productivity, and how security teams are using AI to prioritise alerts by risk rather than by volume or timing. Underpinning all of it is the sheer growth in data volume, and the question every team is now grappling with: how to keep data accurate, clean and usable as complexity increases, without an unlimited budget to match.

We'll then turn to what this means for observability and security day to day. Embedded AI is moving past anomaly detection towards autonomous investigation and resolution, and the way engineers reach information is changing with it, from static dashboards to natural language interfaces that return an answer rather than a graph. We'll also cover observing the AI itself: cost governance, accuracy, model drift and hallucination detection. The session finishes with a look at what's already in Ferocia's entitlements and what isn't being used yet.

Interactive Sessions: Product Deep Dive (Choose Track 1 or 2)

Ideal for product, engineering and frontend development teams, data engineering, and anyone acting as an AI champion within their team.

*Please select one session - both will be recorded and shared. *

2:00PM-2:30PM Session 1: AI and Agent Observability

Data observability, LLM observability, agent monitoring and AI Guard. A practical session on running AI in production with visibility over cost, quality and risk. Covers tracing agent and LLM calls end to end, evaluating output quality and detecting drift and hallucination, keeping token spend and latency under control, and applying guardrails and governance so teams can move quickly without losing oversight.

2:00PM-2:30PM Session 2: Observability for Product Teams

Feature flags, experiments, product analytics and real user monitoring. A look at how product and engineering teams use the same platform to release safely, measure what changed and understand real user behaviour. Covers rolling features out progressively, running experiments and reading results with confidence, tracking funnels, retention and drop off alongside performance data, and connecting front end experience back to what is happening in the application itself.

14:45 15:45

Outpace AI-Powered Attacks with Unified Security & Observability

Relevant for Engineering, Security and Product

Risk no longer sits solely with the cyber team, and the decisions that shape an organisation's exposure are increasingly made by developers, platform engineers, product owners and anyone shipping to production. Attackers are using AI to move faster, the attack surface keeps expanding as environments become more distributed, and the volume of attempted attacks has grown well beyond what any team can triage manually.

This session looks at what that shift means in practice for detection and response, and why security teams working from a separate data set to their engineering counterparts are consistently a step behind. The same telemetry engineers use to understand performance also drives threat detection, investigation and response. We’ll cover correlating signals across cloud, application and identity layers, cutting time to detection through automated triage and risk based prioritisation, and giving engineering and security teams a common view.
